"'Let Your Yeah Be Yeah'" is a song written by Jamaican singer Jimmy Cliff. It was first recorded by vocal trio The Pioneers, whose version, co-produced by Cliff,[http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=1359912 "Let Your Yeah Be Yeah" at Discogs.com]. Accessed 25 November 2012 reached no. 5 on the UK singles chart in 1971.

The lyrics are based on Matthew 5:37 "But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil."
